Opening Day


The 2008 season for the Mets opening day was a success. The debut on Monday of the season and the first episode of Johan Santana was complete with a 7-2 victory over the Florida Marlins. Santana went for 7 innings striking out 8 batters, allowing 3 hits and 2 runs. The Mets also had an outstanding performance at bat. Wright hit 2 doubles with 3 RBIs on the day.

Although I am not a huge baseball fan, I know that opening day is kind of a big deal. How do you think the Mets are going to do this season? Do they have a lot of new players? I don't know much about the mets and if i had to choose a team it would be the Yankees only because thats who my family likes.
